Ensuring Ethical Data Collection in Qualitative Research

Qualitative research data must be collected ethically with consideration to the welfare of the participants, the informed consent and the power dynamic during the research process. Advocates need to build trust and observe professional boundaries so that the participants are aware of the rights and can withdraw without any repercussions (Barrow et al., 2022).
